COVID-19

Long Jetty Prom Cruises are operating under all current COVID restrictions as outline by the DHHS.

Weather

All cruises and charters are subject to weather conditions therefore bookings may be changed or cancelled. We endeavour to provide as much notice as possible. Although this is a bay cruise the vessel may move around so if you are prone to motion sickness, please take necessary precautions.

Please ensure you are appropriately dressed for the weather conditions.

Minimum numbers

Cruises/ Charters may be cancelled if minimum passenger numbers (5 passengers ) are not met. Refund or reschedule will be available.

Refunds and changes to bookings

Full refunds will be available if your booking is cancelled with at least 24 hours notice. Please contact us on 0488 992 515 for all cancellations. Long Jetty Prom Cruises will abide by Australian Consumer Law in the instance of major faults with the service.

If you wish to reschedule your booking please contact us at least 24 hours prior to departure.

Payments

All payments for cruises and charters are to be made in full prior to the day of the cruise/charter via our booking system. VISA, Mastercard accepted.

If paying cash is your preferred method of payment please contact us via phone or email.

BYO limits

BYO is allowed on South Gippy Sunset Cruises and Exclusive cruises ONLY. Limits apply. Skippers has the right to refuse to board any passenger he considers to be intoxicated. During the cruise/charter the skipper has the right to terminate the trip if alcohol consumption results in unruly behaviour.

Recreational Fishing Licence (RFL)

RFL are required by Victorian fisheries and is the responsibility of the patron to purchase a licence prior to any fishing charter. Licences are required for patrons over the age of 18. Pensioners and Seniors Card holders are exempt. Should an officer from the Department of Primary Industries board the vessel, any passenger without a RFL will be solely responsible for any consequences from such an inspection. Damages to fishing equipment

Any equipment lost or damaged to due to negligence or rough handling will be charged up to $165 per rod and reel unit.

Toilet

There is a toilet aboard the vessel, however it is a marine style toilet suitable for liquid waste only and therefore for urgent use only. We recommend using the public toilets located 150 metres from the car park prior to boarding the vessel.

Accessibility

Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access to the boat. Passengers may be required to climb a vertical ladder of 3-5 steps from the wharf to the boat.
